- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional*)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line an 8” x 8” baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Stir in peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Add dry ingredients: Combine oats, sea salt, and cinnamon in the bowl with the wet ingredients. Stir until a thick dough forms. Add chocolate chips if desired.
- Spread mixture: Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, ensuring an even layer. Optionally, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch.
- Cool and serve: Let the bars cool to room temperature before slicing and serving.
