Description
These Delicious Cherry Pie Bites are a fun and easy twist on classic cherry pie, perfect for individual servings. Made with crescent roll dough filled generously with cherry pie filling, baked to golden perfection, and topped with a sweet powdered sugar glaze. Ideal for parties, snacks, or a quick dessert treat.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Pie Bites
- 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
- 2 (8 ounce) tubes crescent roll dough
For the Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Prepare the muffin tin: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a regular muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Shape the dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual pieces. Place each piece into the muffin tin, with the widest part of the dough at the bottom, forming cups to hold the filling.
- Add cherry filling: Generously scoop about 3 to 4 heaping tablespoons of cherry pie filling into each dough cup. It’s fine if some filling seeps out during baking.
- Fold dough over: Carefully fold the three corners of the dough around the filling as best as you can to partially enclose the cherry filling.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 13 to 14 minutes until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Make the glaze: While the bites bake, whisk powdered sugar with 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk in a bowl until smooth and reaching your preferred drizzle consistency.
- Drizzle and serve: Once the cherry pie bites are warm, spoon the glaze over the top. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- You can use more or less milk in the glaze depending on whether you want it thicker or thinner.
- Be careful not to overfill the dough cups to avoid too much spilling during baking.
- These bites are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- For a different flavor, try other pie fillings like apple or blueberry.
