Kielbasa Tortellini Skillet:

  • 1 pound kielbasa, thinly sliced (smoked or turkey)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini, fresh or frozen
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cup frozen peas
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded off the block
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced kielbasa and cook for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Add the tortellini, water, dried minced onions, paprika, and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  3. Step 3: Cover and simmer until tortellini is almost done, about 8–10 minutes.
