Frosting:

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of fine sea salt
Toppings:
- Fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or any other fruit of your choice
- Optional: fresh honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a quarter sheet pan, a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, or a 12-inch round pizza pan with cooking spray.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- Prepare Dough: In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Bake Crust: Press dough into the prepared pan, then bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
