Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Grilled Shrimp Caesar Wraps featuring perfectly seasoned grilled shrimp, creamy homemade Caesar dressing, crisp romaine lettuce, and flavorful toppings all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  2. Grill the Shrimp: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque, indicating they are cooked through.
  3. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing onto each warmed tortilla. Top with grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and optionally add crumbled bacon and croutons for extra crunch and flavor.
  6. Fold and Roll: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a complete wrap.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • Ensure shrimp are fully cooked but not overcooked to keep them tender and juicy.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter dressing option.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free tortillas and croutons.
  • Optional toppings like bacon and croutons add extra texture but can be omitted for a simpler wrap.
  • These wraps are best served fresh to prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy.
