Ingredients
Scale
Chocolate Mixtures
- 14 oz (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Red food coloring (optional for extra swirl effect)
Topping
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving the paper to overhang the edges to allow for easy removal of the fudge once set.
- Melt Chocolate: In two separate bowls, melt the white chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips either in the microwave by heating in 30-second intervals and stirring between, or alternatively, use a double boiler on the stove to melt them gently.
- Mix Ingredients: Stir half of the sweetened condensed milk into each bowl of melted chocolate until the mixtures are smooth and fully combined.
- Add Peppermint: Add the peppermint extract to the white chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly to infuse the peppermint flavor.
- Create Layers: Pour half of the semi-sweet chocolate mixture evenly into the prepared pan, then pour half of the white chocolate mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining semi-sweet and white chocolate mixtures to create layered effect. Use a knife to gently swirl the layers together to create a marbled peppermint swirl pattern.
- Add Peppermint Candies: Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies evenly over the top of the fudge. For a more vibrant red swirl effect, add a few drops of red food coloring and swirl lightly with a toothpick.
- Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or until the fudge is firm and set.
- Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan by holding onto the overhanging parchment paper, cut into squares, and serve chilled.
Notes
- You can substitute candy canes for the crushed peppermint candies if preferred.

- Ensure all utensils and bowls are completely dry when melting chocolate to avoid seizing.
