For the Chicken:
- 2 small chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Bread:
- 1 Italian style loaf
- 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (or garlic paste)
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into ½ inch pieces. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with poultry seasoning. Cook in a pan until golden.
- Prepare the Garlic Bread: Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Spread on bread and toast in oven.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same pan used for chicken, melt butter, add garlic, then heavy cream, parmesan, and parsley. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Assemble: Spread sauce on toasted bread, top with chicken, mozzarella, and more sauce.
- Bake: Bake the assembled bread until cheese is melted. Slice and serve warm.
